Yes, i know it took some time, but I had to transfer around 40GB worth of data. I decided to leave both my phones overnight to complete the process.Ĭame back in the morning and both phones have already the completed the process. at this point, it was already a solid 5 hours into the process, and this was connected to high-speed Wi-Fi. When it started the migration process, it was stuck at 11 minutes for a good half an hour, and then the counter kept going up until 21 minutes. Basically these are what I did before starting the process other than the one mentioned in this thread ġ) Transfer as many photos and videos from my S10 to my laptop (the less data you have have on your old phone, the faster the migration process would be)Ģ) Clear any unimportant whatsapp chats and delete as many videos as you can (same reason from point no.1) after doing this i still had around 13GB worth of messages and mediaģ) Delete any unused or old apps on my S10 I've succesfully moved from my Galaxy S10 to my new14 pro. I hope this can help anyone who struggled like me The only advice i can give is try to reduce the amount of data and make a new user account so nothing can disturb the process in the background.ītw my chats were from 2015 and my images from 2019, that all was 4 gb overall, i did delete unnecessary media from immportant people through storage section in whatsapp settings. Finally i started the move from andrOId to ios, it started at 9 mins but then it became 12 then 20 then 39 mins! i honestly lost hope at that moment but when i thought about it actually took awhile to restore from drive so this might be the same case, so i waited for maybe 2 or 3 hours and the number gradually started to decrease!!! after all these months of trying it finally worked. So after many tries, i finally figured it out! i backed up my whatsapp to a different google account but without the videos, my videos back up were 16gb so it was quite heavy to move it, while my chat and pictures were 4 gb, the second thing i did is that i made a new user on my android idk if all androids have this feature but mine does, this basically gives me a fresh start without deleting anything, then i restored what i backed up to this 2nd user account, it took a while but it worked out. /r/iOSSetups for iOS wallpapers, setups, and apps./r/AppleSwap if you want to trade devices!.Keep an eye on temporarily free or discounted apps on /r/AppHookup!.Your iPhone broke?
